Microdermabrasion is a quick, non-invasive procedure used to resurface the skin with aluminum oxide crystals which gently removes the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. It then promotes the growth of new skin cells in the basal layer of the dermis. The technique exfoliates and gently resurfaces the skin, promoting the formation of new, smoother, clearer skin. Microdermabrasion will clean pores thoroughly and hinder any future breakouts if treated on a regular basis. Microdermabrasion is typically recommended for any of the following conditions:

  • Acne & Acne Scars
  • Wrinkles & Fine Lines
  • Scar Removal
  • Rejuvenation of Healthy Skin
  • Age Spots
  • Hyper-Pigmentation
  • Sun Damage
  • Rosacea

With microdermabrasion, there is no downtime or discomfort. You may return to regular activities immediately following your treatment. There may be minimal redness, sometimes described as being wind chapped. The procedure usually lasts between 25-45 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
